I'm going to get a new video card for my PC, to run this gen games. Unfortunately, my PC's specs aren't the best, so I'm looking for one that is compatible with my system. I need a 512MB AGP DDR video card. I have looked for it, but I haven't found it. I'm not sure if they even exist with that specification. Does anybody knows where can I find it?

I don't think it's worth it to sink money into an older computer like that. Yeah, it's not what you want to hear, but this upgrade is the end of the line for your computer. The HD 3850 is the absolute best graphics card you can get for for the AGP bus, and it's already being out-classed by newer PCI-E cards. You might as well put that money towards a new motherboard, processor, and some RAM, as you'll have to do that soon, anyway.

I suppose I should actually ask, what are your full system specs?

Yeah, I was thinking in actually buying a new PC. I'm not an expert in computers, but my specs are something like this:

- AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3000+ 2.00 GHz

- 1,50GB DDR RAM

- SATA HDD 160GB

- NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 128MB AGP

Best AGP card you can get is the ATi Radeon 3850 ($140 on newegg)

the next best thing is the HD Radeon 2600 pro for 60 dollars

Why do you think that? As long as you have the right type (AGP) and enough power to run it you're good to go.

DDR is not a connection type. DDR is a RAM specification and stands for Double Date Rate.

Hmmm... so the only thing that matters for it being compatible is if it is AGP or PCI?
