hi.....

i'm not that good in searching for a good mobos so i need a little help here......i will write the specs and you tell me if you know any mobo that has these specs or a recommended mobo at least plzzzzz :

(1)support SLI (NOT CROSSFIRE!!!)

(2)support penryn CPU's (Yorkfield)

(3)support 8 GB of ram .

(4)has a good passive cooling in it.

(5)have a good reputation i mean a strong mobo not like these ASUS mobos which most of them arrive to you DOA or dead.

thx in advance...i hope i'm not asking too much.

hmmm i don't think so because the n680! chips only support penryn (wolfXXX something i don't remember the last name) like the core 2 duo but the yorkfield is not supported by the 680! chip.

Hmm, I've been using ASUS motherboards for about 6 years now and haven't had any issues with them. Guess I'm lucky.

when you buy them from online sellers like amazon or tigerdirect there is a big chance to get a dead motherboard

well i mean all online sellers in genera....its like the mobos company's throw their replacemented mobos to online sellers. i think its a 50/50 chance to have ether a good mobo or a dead one

Yay for newegg then!

you better try buying a one from a store....its more safer
