I was wondering because I have been looking at the Razer Chimaera 5.1 surround sound headset if anyone has gotten the chat to work on the ps3. On Razer's website it says the Chimaera's chat function can only be used on PC/360 but the headphones themselves can be used on the ps3. My other question is, is there some sort of decoder I could buy if I decided to get this headset, or does the Astro mixamp or turtle beaches Earforce DSS2 Surround Sound processor decode in order to use the chat function on the ps3? Answers would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.
The only problem is its a wireless headset. But it does have two 3.5mm jacks on the back one for mic and one for headset. How is this adapter supposed to work on the ps3 if its made for the pc?
Never thought much of PC gaming. Though I never had anything against the group, (or anyone for that matter) I simply was never enticed by the platform for games since I mostly use it for others things. You know, things like working on my website, sending email back and forth and you know using the internet stuff like that. The personal computer is a beast, the best piece of invention weve ever had and we thank God for it, right? Yes. Some of the people who play videogames on it, though, I cant stand them now not since the announcement of PS4 at least, when suddenly they started coming out of the woodwork with insulting lingo directed towards Sonys new console, PlayStation 4.
