Well, I have some parts ready to go.. (I hope, Im quite a novice.. 1st build) and I was looking for some help from you veterans.  Thats what I have so far. I need a nice GPU (hdmi), power supply, and case.. My budget is 1500-2000 .. Anything over 2k is pushing it. Thanks! Oh and if you guys feel that I should make any changes to the 3 things I have already, please feel free. Though, I have convinced myself on the CPU. I've looked at a few and the i7 860 is most likely best for me. I will be using this PC to mainly do editing, design and work with HD videos.

That is a much better buy then a wannabe overpriced LGA1156 I7 you were thinking of getting.
