My computer was working fine till i startd messing around trying to enable dual screen mode, now when the computer is going to reach the desktop the screen just gets black and the moniter gets in power save mode like if the pc is off while the pc is running. Everything shows at startup but when it finishes loading and ready to go to desktop the screen just gets black.. any way to fix this? i hope i didn't mess the gpu up. right now im in safe mode, but i guess in safe mode the moiter doesnt use the gpu so i can see things, and when i remove the gpu everything works.

Nvm, I fixed it, I have the ATI 4850, I mixed up the moniters, i had the wrong 1 primary and the wrong one secondary, then i did a system restore just to be sure, because I want everything how it was when it was perfect. But can some1 tell me why in my 2nd moniter which is a HD TV is plugged to the computer i get messed up image? it has static dots but i set it to the apropriate max res of the tv which is 1280 x 768, if i plug it to the mainboard the image is perfect but from the gpu its terrible....

Good to hear your first problem you figured out. Have you tried plugging that monitor into the other vidio adapter on the GPU? The one that you know is working right?
