Alright after a few weeks of Vista I am sick of all the complications this OS has been giving me so I have decided to go back to XP. I have been having one problem though. I want to start from a clear slate so what I did was rebooted my comp and booted it by the CD. I began to go over to the recovery console and selected the first option to install windows to C:/ but then it came up with an admin password. There is an administrator account on this comp, but the password for it is. . . well  there is no password so I left the space blank and I got the whole you have entered the wrong password deal so I tried other ones like "Admin" , "admin" ect. and none worked. So I have no idea how to get the password the computer wants. Does anyone have a clue as how to do this?

If you are starting from scratch, why are you going to the recovery console? Just stick the XP CD in, go through the normal installation process, and reformat the drive when you have the chance.
