Everything looks fine.

You can go with GTX760/R9 280 as starting GPU replace and go up to GTX780/R9 290.

I wouldn't change CPU, it's fine for todays gaming

You can buy the R9 290 for 450$.

If you really want to change the CPU I can recommend you a combo of R9 280X and i5 4670K but that will require a new MOBO as well so...

Your cpu and ram are fine, If you can or haven't already grab an aftermarket cooler and overclock that i5 and you wont need touch the cpu for a long time. All you need is a gpu upgrade at least a GTX 760 or AMD r9 280. But for $500+ budget Grab a GTX 780 or R9 290.

Hello. Since you are planning on playing at 1920x1200, I believe that R9 280X or GTX770 are already great choices for around $300+. Also your CPU and RAM are more than enough to run every game today.

You can go with R9 290 or GTX780 for more performance if you like for $200 more.

But in the end I would personally go for GIGABYTE GV-R928XOC-3GD REV2 Radeon R9 280X 3GB $329.99, since it has good o/c, good thermals and great price.

If I would go for something more then GIGABYTE GV-N780GHZ-3GD GeForce GTX 780 3GB $569.99, which blows every competition out of the water apart from 780ti which is only 5% faster...

This is from techspot's review: Crysis 3 with very high quality and SMAA 2X @1200p at 58FPS!!!

For instance, the GHz Edition card was just as impressive providing nearly 20% more performance than a standard GTX 780 on average, which works out to about 5% slower than the standard GTX 780 Ti and 4% faster than the Radeon R9 290X. Despite those massive gains from factory, we extracted another 8% from each card by overclocking them further and what's most impressive is that we didn't have to adjust the WindForce 3X's coolers, which remained extremely quiet during loads -- a rarity on stock high-end cards.

In the end its your choice. How much do you want to spend for gaming? :)

R9 280 and 290 are over priced imo
