I just ordered this panasonic HD projector. It's a native 720p but it will pass 1080p. It's $1,875 (from Amazon)with a $400 rebate so you can get it for $1475. There are some cheaper HD projectors out there for around a $1,000 but this one got great reviews and matched with the higher priced projectors when it comes to brightness.
