It is the quest where you have to acquire 3 items. . . . the ring of dessication, the amulet of disintegration, and the calming pants. In fort Malchar, I have made it to where the container is that contains the amulet of disintegration, but I cannot figure out how to get into the container. There is a torch also that I cannot pick up, how do I get into this container? What do I need to do? A friend of mine borrowed my book, and he has not brought it back yet. Sorry bout that, it is the Shiv Isles Exp. for Oblivion.
This part reminded me of a few Zelda games. What you have to do is use the grab key and pick up the torch without having to put it in your inventory. You must light the three podiums in the room. You'll have to be quick about it, though, for the fires will go out and you'll have to light them again. Then, you'll be able to get the amulet.
