Ight, i'm going to order my Macbook pro today, but I can cusomize it a bit.

now I would like some help of witch better cosomisations are wurth the extra money.

Now... most important task for the computer is offcourse schoolwork. But I would like it that I can use it for entertainment to (-> gaming)

Processor : 2.5GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory : 2GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM - 2x1GB
harddrive : 250GB Serial ATA @ 5400 rpm

so, the basic prize is = 2.200€

Things I can upgrade:

Processor : 2.6GHz Intel Core 2 Duo [+ 220,00 €]
Memory : 4GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM - 2x2GB [+ 160,00 €]
harddrive : 200GB Serial ATA @ 7200 rpm [+ 45,00 €]

so wich upgrades would be wurth the extra money??

also something they let u choose but does not cost anything extra isif you want:
-standerd widescreen
or
-widescreen with shiny toplayer (they say this one lets the colours come out more. but if its more shiny, will it reflect the things around me? cause that would be anoying)

I'm hoping for some quick responses since i'm going to order it tonight ^^

Tnx in advance y'all!!

Macs are ridiculously overpriced, even more so when it comes to upgrades.

First off, I lol'd @ customizing a mac. 8)
Secondly, I'm pretty sure you can do the hard drive swap on your own, so stick with the slower one for now. Ram would be the only upgrade I would do, mostly because then you can run bootcamp a lot easier (2 gigs for each os)

You are all highly misinformed. Alright. First of all, adding another 2 gigs for bootcamp so you can "have 2 gigs for each OS" is stupid. You run each OS seperately from bootup. You can't run two OS at the same time by bootcamp. I wouldn't upgrade anything. You would notice NO difference in upgrading the CPU. I would upgrade the RAM, but not from Apple. Wait until you find a good deal some where. About the screen, you are correct. If you get glossy, it makes the colors pop out more, but you can't really use it in sunlight. If you are going to use your mac in bright light alot, get the regular screen. It still looks great.
