Yeah. I've had problems before with explorer.exe.

This time its just really...wierd. EVerytime I try and load up Xfire, it deletes explorer.exe

I've tried opening task manager, loading up Xfire then after it deletes it, make task manager run explorer.exe but it doesn't work. Everything BUT Xfire disappears.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Drop the peice of **** that is IE and get firefox? Problem solved. Why anyone would still use the hunk of crap that is IE is beyond me.death1505921

Ok 2 things. Get off the PC Hardware board if you don't know what explorer.exe is. (Which you obviosuly don't because you think it's IE)

2nd I use Firefox.

hes talking about windows explorer, not ie.

uninstall/reinstall x-fire.

and yes, firefox is a superior browser. start using it today, if you arent already. you can import favorites and settings during the install.

I have a similar problem. I don't know what happened, but explorer.exe just stopped working for me and now I have to use task manager to access everything, which isn't a bad thing but I prefer to use explorer. I tried going to file and then run task, but I just typed explorer.exe and it showed up for a split second but went away. I'm probably doing something wrong but does anyone know how I can get it back?
