Hi i just bought a broksonic 37in lcd tv and yes i know its an unknowned brand but so far the image it gives me is amazing and since its my first lcd tv i would like to know what the best settings picture wise is best for movies and games???

I'd say it depends all on what you like, not all Tvs have the same settings and stuff. I have a Scott 32" LCD 1080i and I just messed with the settings myself. Usually pulled up a picture on my PS3 or used my Dish's DVR and paused whatever was playing and adjusted the settings. Dunno if you will like it but I turned my contrast all the way up with brightness around 70 or 80ish. Around 90-100 the picture gets to fuzzy looking for me.

I doubt anyone has that TV at AVSforum so you're best bet is to buy the Avia or some other calibrating DVD.

Put in a Pixar DVD/Blu-Ray or Sony Blu-Ray and use the test patterns to adjust your settings.
