Need help with my Tritton AX 720 (PS3)

Well I bought a Tritton last year this month and it was working fine up until around November or December, I distincly remembered it was after I udated the firmware. (Not that that's the thing Im suspecting causing the trouble) But now I cant hear the gaming audio on it anymore. I tried to find out online if anyone had the same problem and nada. I can hear myself talking and everyone else talking but just not game sounds or even XMB sounds. I tried Tritton support but the guy was just a moron and did not even help me do anything.

So then two months ago when Crysis2 came out I used my warranty to replace it with a new one and the same problem shows up. Im not sure how to deal with this. Anyone know how to? I would love to hear the crisp surround sound of gaming on my PS3 again.

How do you have it hooked up to your PS3?

Optical cable on optical, USB, etc... I checked the switch to make sure it says AX720 instead of PC. On PS3 I checked off DTS 5.1 and made sure of everything was according to what everyone says.

So where exactly does the game audio come out? Your TV (or stereo)?
