Hello everyone,

Any help you guys can provide would be much appreciated. I am in need of a new videocard. My current computer is running an integrated ATI Radeon HD3200. My brother just bought a videocard and I can use his NVIDIA 7900GS card. Mind that my knowledge of videocards is fairly basic. Since boths cards have roughly the same memory at 256mbs. Is it worth replacing my HD3200 with the 7900 GS?

Also if it matters, here are my other specs:

AMD Phenom 8450 Triple-Core Processor 2.10 GHZ

4gb ram

Windows Vista home premium

Thanks again!

Do not measure performance of a card by video memory... the 7900GS will perform much better than an integrated GPU.

If i were you i would look into the HD4670, 4830 for a much better performance, but if you are only light gaming with older games a 7900 should be ok for you

Here's my plan B:

I have the AMD 780G chipset which is crossfire compatible. It looks like I can pick up a decent ATI HD series card for cheap, and run that together with my HD3200.
