  • Intel Core i7 930 4 x 2.8 GHz
  • 6 GB DDR3 1600 MHZ RAM
  • ATI Radeon HD 5870 1 GB
  • 1.5 TB SATA-II HDD
  • Windows 7 Home Premium
  • Asus P6X58D Premium MB
  • Samung 22x DVD Re-Writer LS
  • Cooler Master HAF-932 Case
  • Cooler Master 600W Silent PSU
  • 6 USB 2.0 Ports & 2 USB 3.0 Ports

Do these specs look good enough to run most games on high? I might try Crysis 2, So thats another reason for my getting a new PC. But my knowledge of PC Specs can be outmatched by a above average monkey. So i was wondering if these specs looked ok. btw the price for this is £1389.

That should easily run most games on high, at high resolutions as well. That would run the current crysis maxed without problems..

Seems a bit pricey, but I don't know the average prices in the UK so I don't take my statement as 100%.

The specs look good and should give great performance. I would suggest a psu with more power. The i7/X58 setups offer great multi-gpu solutions. I would suggest a 750w psu in case you decide to get another 5870 for crossfire.

Well considering the Alienware Area-51 ALX is 4000, I think i got a good price :) This is a great price for this PC in the UK. Consider 1389 to be 2150.

Sorry for the double post but the reason i cant put the Currency symbols is because my Laptop is foriegn with Dollars instead of Pounds. The Alienware is 6200$ here and thats too much to ask...Iv found similar spec'ed PC's for a third of the price. My current desktop has a ATI HD3450 :) ...The PC's pretty old but im tired of playing BC2 at Bare minimum(Low, DX9 mode).
