What? E6600, Q6600 or nvidia 6600gt, the Info that's important is what Mobo you use, does it has PCIe?If we know what price-range and Cpu, mobo, we could recommend some good cards for you.
My guess by what he is trying to say is , get a HD 3870 OR if you just like Nvidia get a XFX 8600GTS.I dont think English is his first language and if he is comparing those cards he must know he can support and price in that range.

Depends on how much you want to spend. Here is a list starting from the top that are close to the cards you named: 8800GT , HD 3870 , HD 3850 , 8600GTS.
