Fable: The Lost Chapters
The Elder Scrolls 3:Morrowind
Gothic 3
Not exatly RPGs:
STALKER
Boiling Point: Road to hell
You could try some action open ended games like: GTA series, True Crime series, The Godfather etc.
There aren't many RPGs that allow you to continue playing once you've finish the main quest line. I think Baldur's Gate I and II allowed you to. But they're played in top-down isometric view not throught first person. That, and the combat system is totally different.
hmm thankes for help ..i think i go with fable its look great and love that you can be good or evil ....
what you think about this game?!

Hmm, of all the rpg's mentioned so far for you to play, Fable would be the worst choice imo. Not that it's a bad game or anything, but it's painfully limited, linear, childish and short. I'd say go with Morrowind.
Cheers,
T.
If you're truly into RPG's i'd suggest the entire set of Gothic. The history is captivating and it was the first to introduce features such as NPC's with private lives (although some have only noticed that in Oblivion...)
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic are also a good choice if you like the Star Wars universe, or just want to change the settings...
Keep on gaming!!!
Fable is not open-ended, it's linear.
I just started playing Morrowind for the second time and now I gotta agree with all the people that say Morrowind is better than Oblivion. The only thing Morrowind is missing is the shiny graphics of Oblivion (minus the collourfull setting. I like Morrowind's dark setting better). Everything else, Morrowind does better. So I would suggest Morrowind.
EDIT: God dammit. Why does it keep removing spaces?
I havn't played oblivion but ill tell you a fair few RPG'S that i know of. There is...
Runescape, Endless, Goonzu, Maplestory, Graal, Gunz: The duel. A good website to go to is www.mopgd.comGo to advanced search and then put genre to RPG and hit search. Sortred. Hope i have been of some help to you.

Runesquape is not worth anyone's time
Morrowind, not only the best, but the ONLY choice. Better than Oblivion, perhaps you'll need a couple of plug-ins to make a better exp. but it's greater even without them.
Also, if you don't care playing an old game, I'd say Fallout 2. The quantity of things you can do there has never been seen in another rpg so far. The only problem would be is not fantasy/medieval, but post-nuclear/futuristic. GREAT roleplaying experience though.
Fable is lame, don't let those smooth graphics catch you, has some problems to run too. As any Microsoft game, this one seems to attempt against atcually... Microsoft Windows. I don't know what's wrong with these people.
KOTOR I is great too, if you like star wars, and if you don't it's a good game anyway. NOT KOTOR 2!! That one is a waste...

Damn, tell me about it. But some people like it for some strange reason so why not tell them?
