get a p67 or z68 motherboardAutoPilotOnOkay I just added the new motherboard to my list. Just a quick question. Is the graphics card compatible with my motherboard / processor? Do I have to worry about PCI Express x16 and stuff like that? Thanks!
Okay I'll try to do the CPU to a 2500k, but as for the motherboard, that's the cheapest one right now that has 2 PCI Express x16 slots. And yes, I was thinking about Crossfire in the future. Is that a good idea?Your rig is a bit unbalanced, first, change the CPU to a i5 2500k, get a cheaper mobo, that one is expensive.
Change the PSU unless you are thinking of Crossfire, even a quality 650watt is overkill but it saves you money.

I would personally just go for a single GPU and upgrade to a single GPU, it eliminates the possibility of crossfire issues.

Well, that does make sense if you think about it. All right I changed the motherboard and added the new processor.Well, that does make sense if you think about it. All right I changed the motherboard and added the new processor.Gamerperson33
Now just change the RAM to a dual channel kit, 4GB or 8GB DDR3, Sandy Bridge doesn't use triple channel.
Also, just noticed, avoid that mobo at all costs, its the worst mobo on the market.

Out of curiosity, what's wrong with it?

Okay thanks for pointing out that. I replaced that with this motherboard. Hopefully this one is good. And I also replaced the memory. Let me know if everything is okay. I also changed my first post to reflect this. Motherboard: MSI Intel P67 Motherboard - ATX, Socket H2 (LGA1155), Intel P67 Express, DDR3 2133MHz (O.C.), SATA 6.0 Gb/s, RAID, 8-CH HD Audio, Gigabit LAN, SuperSpeed USB 3.0, CrossFireX Ready Memory: Corsair XMS 8GB DDR3 RAM - PC10666, 1333MHz, 2x 4GB[QUOTE="GTR12"][QUOTE="Gamerperson33"] Well, that does make sense if you think about it.
