If you want to buy it right now

take a core 2 duo processor. Everyone is awesome, everything from E6600 would be great, and that doesn't say the cheaper are so much worse.

ASUS motherboard, ASUS motherboards r the best like there is no sh?**$ for tommorow

then get a nVidia 8's series graphics card (avoid 8600s, and 8500s Get at least 8800GTS for quality. I dunno right now but AMD releases new card right next week, so you should wait, because it can be competitive but so it can't be. It could appear as a better solution. You even get a free HL EP2 in it and few other games, if your HL addict :P

then get a good PSU, enough RAM (at least 2 GB. I say AT LEAST for quality gaming!), Seagate HD with enough space, OS vista for DX10 (well vista sux but there is no other way to get dx10 other than vistA)

Let's say this thing is good.  I dunno why you need micro ATX motherboard, do you have so small PC case to get this in. Don't forget, ATX case is not compatible with micro ATX motherboard

Ok that's great. It's good too, when AMD releases phenom, you can insert in this chip on your board, because 4200+ X2 isn't really that great :P

because it's better technology, Caches are immense I mean 4mb L2 cache for a 200-250$ processor! Then, pentium d is a joke, X2 aren't that bad but they just can't stand against C2D power.

AMDs barcelona will change everything i hope. That's good for everyone. Except intel.Â
