Need some help plz!

I just formatted my PC cause it had a problem, when downloading itunes again (empty without my music) and conecting mi ipod with all my songs it didnt transfered to my itunes.How do i transfer it? Im asking this because couple of years ago i messed up and erased all my ipod songs and it was painful :( ; i want just to be careful, thanks!

You don't. Transfer of music is one way only from iTunes to iPod/iPhone. You really should have done a bit of research before doing that. There were some crucial files in your iTunes folder that you needed to save, as well as the music folder itself, in order to get your library back.
