So i jaut finished the Witcher and i must say it wa a pretty cool game, there were a few minor annoyances and or LAWLs but im trying to figure out who the hell that was in the ending cinematic. The assassin that tried to kill Foltest, Geralt looks at him and looks surprised and or astonished. I also assume that The grandmaster was ALVIN from the future but they acted if they had no friggin clue. Shani also disapeared, no idea what happenned to her so i am a little confused. I liked the ending but i didn;t like how vague they were about it. Can anyone shed some light?

Alvin was the guy you fight at the end so I don't think its him. Thats why Alvin kept disappearing. No one knows who the ninja was. And no it wasn't me if you were wondering.

What exatcly do you need help with? The Grandmaster was Alvin. The Ending cinematic was some sort of prelude for the next Witcher game which is called "Assassin of Kings".Shani and Geralt end the relationship in the hospital. What extactly was vague about it?

I said that i assumed the the grandmaster was Alvin, i was unsure about the assassin because Oh gee i didnt know what teh title of the next game was called, and last time i talked to shani it was in the druid cave and i never said OMG lets end this relationship or anything of the sort she said to come back after everything is all done so thats why i was a little confused.

There are tons of theories and too much speculation. Many think the Alvin was the Grandmaster, that is not necessarily true. Do some reading here.

Holy hell people, spoilers for gods sake.

Well..
He went missing in the last half of the game and from what I remember he can travel through time, and the grandmaster had the amulet Geralt had given to him and if I can remember there was some dialogue to hint at Alvin being the grand master
It's all really vague to be honest, but in my mind it is the most obvious conclusion, but since it was not confirmed, everybody has their own wild theories on it ranging from the plausible to the downright moronic. I can't see the ending playing out any other way, it wouldn't be half as good otherwise.
