Hey guy's,

I'm thinking about upgrading my CPU and GPU. I currently have a ATI 4870 512 and an C2Q 8200 OC @2.70Ghz. What I'm thinking about getting Is a ATI 5850 and an C2Q 9550 2.83Ghz. So what do you guy's think? Is It worth It to upgrade or should I wait? Thanks In Advance..

I would wait until about Christmas time to upgrade. Games aren't using DX11 properly yet, and your system is definitely fine for now. And by then, the 9550 should be a good bit cheaper, and DX11 cards will be better and cheaper as well...

Not worth it. Why do you even need to upgrade, your system maxes every single game out there not named Crysis. It's probably good for another 2-3 years.

Yeah the above 2 persons are right. I ve a 4770 and a Athlon x2 5200+ and i max out all the games accept CRYSIS AND GTA4 :) So wait until next christmas so u will ve more money and u can buy a core i7 920 as they will be a lot cheap after the i9's and i7 EX are launched :D and same is applied for GPU's, the 5870's will be the price of a GTX275 by then :D
