So i heard about sli, and how you can add another videocard to make it run 2x...Is that true?

So if i use two 8600gts, will it be better than one 9600gt?

I.E http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130085

And do you need two pciex16 slots, or two you sorta plug one in, and addon the otehr on the video card?

Yea you need 2 free 16x pci-e slots, and a motherboard that supports SLi. Although I wouldn't recommend SLIing 2 8600's, just get the 9600gt.

you have to have a mainboard that is SLI. SLI isn't twice as fast and some games do not take advantage of SLI.

I personaly like it, many others would say just get one good card. If you have a 19"-21" monitor Any way you want to upgrade would be fine. I'm not a fan of the 9 series cards because the don't have any memory bandwidth. If you have an SLI board get another card just like you have from ebay, newegg, tiger direct etc. and you should be satified.
