Need suggestions on FPS pc games

Hi everyone, I'm hoping to get some help on choosing a single player first person shooter game for the pc I'd like to focus on games that were released from 2006 to 2008.

I've already played

Half Life 2

F.E.A.R.

Fallout 3

Crysis series

Call of Duty series

etc.

So I'm looking for something like those, I'm really wanting a single player game, but I guess I'd consider multiplayer as long as it had a good single player offline part. I've peeked at Bioshock but I'm not really sold that there would be enough weapons. Thanks for any suggestions.

Well, as you said. Bioshock is a great great game. But is a better game to rent since its short if you have a console. But you should look into Far Cry 2. Battlefield 2, for online play. But thats older than what your wanting but still looks great. If you like sandbox games that let you create almost any thing then look into SPORE, thats one of the best games to me...

Far Cry 2 and Quantum Of Solace are disliked by a lot, but I enjoyed them.

yeah, far cry 2 can look amazing if you have the right specs

Singleplayer FPS I would go with STALKER, Rainbow Six Vegas, GRAW2.

If you're going to play 1.. and you don't mind having your world taken over for at least a couple of weeks- play Far Cry 2. INCREDIBLE game.

id also check out quake IV

I got to back up bioshock, and don't worry about enough weapons, many more weapons in Bioshock than in most modern day fps, and once coupled with plasmids....a lot of combinations to use.
