As long as its a game that does not have DRM, yes you can. Copy all the files to the flash drive and install them on your netbook. The original Diablo does not have DRM, not sure about the rest of those.

DRM stands for Digital Rights Management and its the security used to protect the content from being copied. I know that the original Diablo does not have DRM, but idk if the second one does or not.
Diablo II's old isometric 3D visuals from a long time ago were made to run on much weaker systems than current netbooks. You should be ok.
Could a netbook handle EverQuest?
CaptainAhab13
Maybe, it depends on the specs of the netbook. The minimum requirements for Everquest are 800Mhz processor (1Ghz recommended), 128Mb Ram (256Mb recommended), and Geforce 2 MX series/Geforce 3 series graphics.
Most netbooks I have seen usually have at least a 1Ghz Atom processor and 512Mb of Ram. Most netbooks have onboard video that supports DirectX9 so this would be fine.
I know alot of people that have played D2 on netbooks (even the first gen ones with the celerons) and they can play that game just finei mostly want to play diablo 2 on it but idk how well it will run

Is there a way to download a digital copy of Diablo 2? Netbooks dont have optical drives so if he cant download it, he would need an external optical drive.

I have one and some of my picks are: Open TTD, Plants v Zombies, World of Goo and Age of empires 2
Your best sticking with older non-3d games.

Same here actually, Torchlight's "netbook" mode did absolutely nothing for me.
That's too bad. It runs great on my HP Mini 1000, and there are lots of YouTube videos of it running on other netbooks as well. Did you try it in standard settings or netbook mode? From my experience torchlight runs terribly on netbooks.

I think i went straight for netbook mode - this was the reason that i actually bothered to install it on my netbook in the first place.

Hmm, strange. I mean, I do get some choppiness, but it's not enough to get in the way of gameplay. Also strange is that I actually get better performance running at the native 1024x600 than I do at lower resolutions. Go figure. And what really gets in the way of gameplay is trying to spot and click targets on a 9" screen. :PPlease Log In to post.
