i wanted to ask if my computer can send internet to a hub from my computer. my computer has two ethernet connections. one is linksys eg1032 1 gigabit connection and the other is realtek intel PRO/1000 PM Connection(onboard) . right now my computer is connected to the internet through linksys. can i send internet to the hub my intel ethernet connection. sorry if any of this confuses you.

Bit confusing to answer, i don't see your point, you are using an add on network card (PCI), linksys, at the moment to connect online, but you also have an onboard network card. So your asking can you use both onboard and PCI NIC's to connect online at the same time...?

I don't think you can do that, one or other..

im trying to send internet from my computer to my network hub. my computer is already connected to my router.

Why don't you just send internet from the router, instead of through your pc first?

a hub is not a routeable device. If you want to send LAN information through it, you will be ok. But you can not send anything outside of you internal Network through a hub.

Not what i said, if he has other PC's on network needing the internet they can be fed directly from router.
