I currently have a Radeon 800 XT card but Im about to upgrade to a new AGP card...Which card is better? The radeon 1950PRO 512 card or the 1950XT 256 card? Thanks....

XT hands down. More VRAM /= Performance (except when you are running insanely high resolutions)

Id actually go with the Geforce 7950GT for a AGP. Those two ATI cards only have 12 pixel piplines vs 24 in the 7950. It will also be about $20-30 cheaper. Give it a thought.

the x1950 cards don't use traditional pixel pipelines.. the x1950xt has 16 'pipelines,' but it's always a good bit faster than the 24-pipeline 7950. the 1950pro is a hair behind the 7950gt.. but i don't think the 7950's made in agp, anyway.. only the 7800gs with 20 pipelines, which the 1950pro walks all over pretty easily.

Actually the 7800GS is only 16 pipelines for agp and 20 for PCIE. They do have the 7950GT in AGP and it has 24 pipelines. View

whoa. i did not know those existed, seriously. that's awesome! that does put it right at the same price point as the gecube x1950xt on newegg, though - which would be a faster card if the agp cards follow the pci-e tradition. its HS/F looks incredibly stupid, tho. the x1950pros are more like $200 or less.

the best AGP card out there is the X1950 pro, the 7950 is just lacking behind not much though.

I though the 7950GT was better than the X1950 Pro.

Isn't the X1950Pro about equal to a 7900GS ??

The X1950 PRO beats the 7900GS. :/

OP, go for the X1950 XT from GeCube.

Decisions,decisions......well the frontrunner is the 1950XT...Is that a good choice? My goal is to play company of heroes 1280 x 1024 max settings and supreme commander 1024x768 medium settings..

I actually run the Geforce 7800 GS OC myself.. at 1280 x 1024 most games run pretty good. I tried the demo of company of heroes and got it to run good on 1024 x 768. But the other card you guys are talking about are faster than mine so I'm sure 1280 will be fine with a little tuning.
