Well, if the past is any indication, it will most likely be a Starcraft MMO. Blizzard launched Warcraft 3 to set up the world and storyline for World of Warcraft. Now, they are releasing Starcraft 2 as three separate packages, each one containing a huge story-driven campaign. It sounds an awful lot like they are trying to set up the Starcraft universe for an MMO.
Of course, Blizzard is known for surprises, but one thing they haven't done is create a new franchise in years. The only thing I can even point to that may indicate a new franchise would be that they are making new games for Diablo and Starcraft to please the fans of these old games demanding a sequel before rolling out a new MMO.
But honestly, I don't really see why it wouldn't be Starcraft. They already have their fantasy MMO with WoW, so it would just seem extremely redundant and pointless to release a new fantasy-themed MMO. And if they are making a Sci Fi MMO, there's really no reason to NOT put it in the Starcraft universe.
So, based on the fact that they are heavily working on the Starcraft world and storyline, coupled with the fact that the next MMO they do needs to differentiate itself greatly from WoW, I say it is going to be a Starcraft MMO.
