Seems like my cpu is running pretty hot, any suggestions? I allready scraped off the stock paste and put on arctic 5, got me down a couple degrees. But I'm still at 70c at full load, and that's in a short ammount of time.

500w ps

msi 890-gxm g65

8600gt, haven't gotten it to work sli yet, will work on that later.

one 120mm fan at the back of the case blowing out, one 80mm at the front sucking in, stock amd cooler

keep in mind this is a matx board but in a thermaltake mid tower, so I understand it may run a little warm, but these temps are after 5 mins of occt.

my next option is obviously the stock cooler sucks, but should it be running this hot? I'm about to go get an h50 from best buy, on sale for $60, but I want to make sure I'm not putting a baid aid on another problem.

I could have put it on too thick, but I only used about a pea size, and spread it evenly.

Bought a corsair h50, it lowered temps by 10 deg, I think the problem is my PSU, it's 500w but is getting really hot. I'm going to change that out and use it for my HTPC soon. It'll suck to have water cooling and not be able to OC, ftl.
