Just just put it together yesturday and when I press on the power button nothing comes on. I followed the mobo instructions and everything looks like it's in place. I was grounded when handling the motherboard, so I don't think it's shot. The CPU was put in right and so was the fan.

Have you checked to make sure everything is totally seated? Also when you say nothing turns on you literally mean nothing turns on and it doesn't boot or do the fans spin up but the machine doesn't boot? I'm leaning right now towards a PSU issue so if you do have one laying around you can try and see if it will turn on.

Do you have access to a digital volt meter? If so, read the pin voltages on the 24V and 12V output from the PSU and compare that to the values specified in the PSU manual.

There's a switch on the back of the PSU that you might have missed.

I your talking about the I/O switch then I haven't missed it. I mean that nothing comes on at all. The fans should at least go even if the mobo is bad, shouldn't they?

I hooked up the Power switch, message/power/sleep led, hd led and reset switch to the panel. Is there somewhere on the PSU where you have to change the volts?

If you have a power switch on the back of the power supply, make sure it's on "-" and not "o"

TO test the power supply to see if it will turn on you can take a paper clip and connect the GREEN wire on the 24 Pin connector to a BLACK, aka ground, cable on the 24 Pin connector.

The green cable is the Power On cable, if this method doesn't turn on the PSU that means you will need to RMA it.
