-Kane contacts GDI after all hope is lost due to the Tiberium contamination, forming the "Tiberium network control", which allows to control Tiberium spread, as well as turn it into an inexpensive power source- but of course, the extremists of both parties don't agree with this shift, sparking a new war
-FMVs won't consist of much asinine babbling in front of bluecsreens, there should be much more action ahead
-Our character will play an important role in the story, but FMVs remain 1st person
-Much more mature and stern tone
-Crawler produces all our units, and is upgradeable as our standard units are
-Lost crawlers are instantly replaced, and you can choose between offensive, defensive or engineer cla ss
-Tiberium will be collected by refineries you erect yourself at pre-determined spots
-All SP and MP matches will net you experience points to unlock new tech
-Oil derricks as secondary income (Unconfirmed!)

It's Command and Conquer so i'm intruiged, and wanting to hear more. It looks good so far, although I'm a little concerned about the lack of base construction, but I shall keep and open mind and see how it turns out. I'm liking the sound of the more mature tone, as well.

"-Tiberium will be collected by refineries you erect yourself at pre-determined spots" does that mean it will be like RA3 or is it going to be like c&c3? I hope they don't make it like RA3.

The time they announced it's to close to CnC 3 expansion and the graphics look like CnC 3 graphics.

To me it seems like another expansion.

So do they focus this time more to gameplay and story trying to hit Starcraft 2?

Lol, yeah I don't have a good feeling about this game. Hopefully this is just screens from an early build and some of those horrible looking units either get scrapped or change drastically. I am also not a fan of the MASSIVE mobile bases if you will.

I hope EALA fails as hard as they did with RA3 and have to close down because they have totally destroyed the latest C&C games IMO. Time will tell sooner or later time will tell i guess. Who knows maybe this game will actually turn out half decent but I won't be holding my breadth.

having one mobile building build all units is stupid stupid stupid stupid, totally against previous cnc games. If they really want to change up mp then have a mobile base there, leave single player aloneeee. It's far too late for them to change their minds and I think they've already ruined the game the game looks fine, the sage engine is fine (aside from being trapped in a glass box above)

Ugh...a centralized builder unit, and it sounds like little base building. Horrible choice.

Where is the challenge in that? The thing that makes a game fun is the fact that you can lose

I really disliked this aspect of Red Alert 3

-All SP and MP matches will net you experience points to unlock new tech

Achievements/Unlocks are the root of all bad games...it takes somehing that should be about gameplay, and makes it about getting the best stuff.

might as well be confirmed, theyve been in the last few C&C games (since RA2 and Generals)

I am very excited, dont get me wrong, but once again they are making horrible choices about gameplay. C&C has always been about basebuilding and unit production, and none of this specialization and crap like that. Its a meat and potatoes RTS franchise that doesnt do anything fancy, but does the basics extremely well.

Now EA is trying to make it cool by adding all this crap, and adding unlocks and acheivements and simplifying the gameplay to make it appeal to console crowds.

I will buy this game, and I will likely enjoy it (I loved C&C 3), but I am expecting nothing yet hoping for the best.

PS: Is that a Mammoth Mk2 in the screen shot? Didnt the C&C community say that was a horrible, horrible addition after C&C 2? Ugh

thats exactly what it means...it will be exactly like RA3.

You know...RA2 had the right idea...dont change the refinery, change the harvester.

The allied had the teleporting harvester that was fragile and couldnt carry a lot of ore, but it could teleport

The soviets had the tough harvester that had a machine gun and could carry a lot of ore, but was slow.

Dont they understand that the C&C series has been a success because of certain established fundamentals. I mean for christ's sake Westwood created the genre with Dune 2 and perfected and popularized it with C&C.

this game sounds like it will suck more and more every time I hear about it. Damn EA, way to ruin the game.

OMG, firstly the graphics completely suck, that's inherit, sage is dated period.

No more harvesters?!?!?!? Are you KIDDING me. WTF, is the point of even calling it C&C at this point. Raiding harvesters and crippling players was SUCH a fundamental strategy in C&C, and it worked so well.

Why did they have to take the worst feature out of RA3 and paste it here, WHY!?!??! The fact the game sold like crap didn't ring any bells that it down right sucked and should be scrapped and never spoken off again, not reused in a new title. Man.

Can't wait to see how they masacre Generals next.

The picture looks like a bad C&C3 mod, the story premise sounds asinine, and the construcion/production system sounds retarded. Honestly I hope this is all false rumors because if not I'm gonna be ****ing pissed.
