Go for a 320 or 400Gb ;) What brand of PSU? Class 1: These are the Best: PC Power & Cooling (All Turbo Cool & ULTRA-QUIET SILENCER 610W & 750W), Seasonic (S-12, S-12E+, M-12), Corsair, Silverstone (Zeus models ST56ZF, ST75ZF, and ST85ZF), Etasis & Zippy. Class 2: Antec, Enermax, Enhance, Fortron (FSP), Hiper (Type-M 670W & 730W & Type-R 730W) I-Star, OCZ Technology, PC Power & Cooling, Seasonic, Silverstone, Sparkle, Tagan, Thermaltake ToughPower (Only the ToughPower Line!), Vantec & XCilo. Class 3: Hiper (Type-R 580W, 530W & 480W) Mushkin & Sunbeam NUUO You probably won't need SLI so if you can save on the mobo go for it.

Seems like the typical "check out my new rig!" set-up (different brands all the time though). Seems alright, everyone is going to have the same, identical computer soon = P

change the Quad-Core to the best Duel-Core ( it spares you some money, no game application uses Quad)

and make the 8800GTS320 to a 8800GTX, why wait until november ? ( spend the money you save on a 8800GTX)

Hahah... I ordered basically the EXACT same set-up. Stick with theQuad and just overclock. Games in the future are being optimized for Quad and above not so much dual core because they have alreadybeen around for awhile and Quads obviously have better task juggling.

I'm also using a 20" inch screen, Same graphics card, same processor, same Ram, and same hardive space. XD Hilarious. Only differance is the PSU which I kinda went overkill (800 Watts)to stay alittle futureproof as far as power goes. I say stick with what you have and upgrade the graphics card when the 9 series comes out, I'll be doing the same.

It looks good man. Though I say if you have any more money, just go for the 8800GTX. If not then it's cool. The rig looks nice. I also say stick with a Quad, Crysis will thank you

I see you going to everyone's rigs and telling them to get a gtx, but the price range is really different. The gts (lowest price on newegg) is $279 (evga). The gtx is $529 (by leadtek = / ).

Cong For Your New Set, Looks amazing

i gotta approve with the Dual Core, you really don't need Quad, it'll save you some money that you can invest in your VGA

and since you are spending money on your VGA Go straight for the 8800 GTX Ultra, 8900 won't have that much to add and you'll lose what ever you spend on your VGA 8800 GTS

you can still upgrade your VGA in a year or so

That is cause GTX is basicly pretty more powerfull than GTS. Most of ppls think: " No there isnt bigg difference nah, ill just take GTS which is way cheaper". But they are wrong GTX is around 25% more powerfull than GTS, which can be decicive in Crysis betwen playable and non-playable. Just for record. And about quads, we really dont know what kind of quad will be needed in games like Alan Wake which will need quad core to be maxed out. Let alone crysis , UT3, Bioshock. Those games will probably dont need quad core to being maxed out. And also wont offer that huge boost whit quad compared to dual core. By time Alan Wake comes out, there will hopefully already be Nehalem (i think thats the code name), so called "true" quad core, and that time when quad core could really be needed Q6600 will just fell even low end quad core. Of course it will still peform better in Alan Wake than Dual core. Its possible that it will also get max settings. But ATM GPU will be more important in Crysis, Bioshock, UT3 than procesor. Thats why it seems smart to invest in better GPU and dual core. DOnt rush on me. Its just my opinion. But it is true that quad core will be more future proof and he will also be able to do moer multitasking.
