I finally bought one. Dont know that much about computers. I know its good, but HOW good will it be for gaming? I want Star Craft 2, hope it wont have a problem running it full spec. What do you all think? Primary function wont be gaming, but being able to run them will be nice. :p

You bought a Gateway didn't you. UltimateGamer could have built you one :( Anyway your new PC is alright but the GTX 260 is starting to age a bit.

Not a gateway. Like I said, gaming is not the primary function. I just want to the option to play a few if I want to.

That's a beast of a machine for a rig that's not built for gaming.

he probably should've gotten a server processor and definately not gotten that gpu.

I wouldn't use your words, but I will say its a waste of potential. :(

Yeah that PC will run anything the only thing i see you need to upgrade in the future is maybe your graphics card and thats about it. O yes and make sure your power supply is big enough for a future upgrade because a lot of prebuilt systems are built ith small bare minimum power supplies. So yes make sure you haz a power supply to upgrade vid card and youd be set.

Good system, even the GPU is great, depending on what resolution you play at. Happy gaming times are ahead of you.

As far as I can remember, Blizzard games have always worked flawlessly on 4 year old mid-range computers. So for Starcraft 2, you could have probably stuck with what you've got.
