new computer, so what will it do?

Hello. i just received a computer with the following specs

amd athlon 6000 3.0ghz dual

3gb ddr2 533 ram

8800gt

700watt powersupply

before i install all the jazz, i would like to know

cani expect to play recent game besides crysis at high settings?

It should be able to run Crysis on high settings.

only on 1280x1024 or at max 1680x1050 with that setting on high two video card maybe 1920x1200
the onyl setting yet on market that can put cryis sall very high on 1920x1200 is called 3-way sli or Tri-sli GTx 280
For no lag =) it mean the cpu neither gotta upgrade by 500%. or neither the gPU PRICE MUST DRop of 200$ for it worth someting lol

and by fluid i mean. no lagging at all (like 50 fps_ that gamepla yon video is at last 30fpsmarcthpro

30 FPS is pretty smooth for Crysis.

I also forgot to mention, in the video it's at Very High with an 8600 GT. An 8800 GT is much better than that.

yep what i was talking about the only set on world that allow cryis 1920x120 50fps : all very high non missing detail the guy as only 1/4 of very high on youtube so you see my point of view the ultimate mobo for run cryis is 3200$ : piece by piece with tax & shipping but i wish stuff wasn't that so expensive crysis should be outdated by video card but at a big cost 600$ X3 marcthpro

I highly doubt that the TC has a 1920 x 1200 moniter.

I also simply stated that the PC should run Crysis at High settings.

From these videos, I am convinced more that his PC can run at 1680 x 1050.

yeah i hope so too what was is pc gear again ? oh yeah althon they are confirmed by 5 source of review I went that any dual core cpu oc. can defeat athlon by 50 fps on most of video game include crysis
but your maybe right he can maybe run at high. with 30fps. highest fps crysis i hope he can =)
if only computer was not that expensive for this game I realy hope That the next Gen console bring good graphic for low cost
