New computer, will it run crysis at all?

Will i be able to run Crysis with this computer? I dont want to waste my money on the game if i wont be able to play it well, thanks :) x

You would be really pushing it to even play at low settings (8400GS is really low end). If you're after a pre-built gaming machine stay far away from HP. The parts they put in their machines are really budget (Not aftermarket quality) and are not designed for gaming. For a pre-built machine, I would recommend AlienWare, however if you have the confidence, buying and building a machine from parts is the best option for gaming and a happy wallet.

ahh well.. through insurance, were getting this for free, my dad says hell pay for a higher end graphics card if it needs it. Do you think with a better graphics card i could play it on medium at least?

If you already have the machine, i would lookin to getting 9600 GT or an 8800 GT, then rest a shured you would be able to play crysis, not on high but possible on meduim.

lol man i was just building a pc on a site worth 1600 australian dollars, and it kicks that things butt, go to www.itestate.com.au and make a killer pc

yeah i know id be able to make it X 2 better from building it, but yeah, im not a huge fan of pc gaming... not enough to fork out too much money.

and if you read my above post i state im getting it free from insurance so i havnt got any leverage on it :( haha.

i just think this game looks like it should be experienced so id like to try it out... perhaps in the future.

Go to systemrequirementslab.com and the website will scan your computer's specs and tell you if you can run crysis. ;)
