a day ago, i bought an Acer Aspire.

amd athlon 6000+

3gb of memory

ati 1250x (i think thats what it is called)

well i also bought oblivion GOTY edition, but when i play it on normal setting, it seems a little bit pixilated and slow, and if i put it on a higher setting, its less pixalated and more slow. so i have been playing it on a low setting.

im new to pc gaming, and i am just asking, is this just an issue with how crappy my video card is, or is there a problem with my computer??

if i get an 8800 gt, will this problem go away?

yes, the onboard video is not that good. so if you were to get an 8800gt that problem would go away and you will be able to play oblivion on high.

8800GT with Oblivion on high lol, you would be playing ultra high settings. Crysis on high easily and everyother game maxed
