New Duke Nukem Forever screenshot

It shows an alien boss. It looks cool but it looks too much like a locust from Gears of War.

I just hope we'll also have huge bosses like in the first Duke Nukem game. :)

But "like in the first Duke Nukem?" Dude, bosses in Duke Nukem consisted of Dr. Proton in episode one, Dr. Proton in episode two, and finally, Dr. Proton in episode three. And he was never impressive to fight. As great of a 2D platformer it was, the original Duke Nukem's boss fights were not one of its strong points.

No sweat, I figured as much. Duke Nukem 3D was also meant to be taken as the second sequel (3D). There was Duke Nukem and Duke Nukem 2, then they decided to go the FPS route for the next game. Duke Nukem Forever is using a pun in its name as well (Forever).

Alas, it seems a lot of people don't know this; most either don't know or don't remember DN3D isn't where it started. It's too bad, Duke Nukem II is one of the best 2D platformers in the history of gaming.

If you guys hadn't noticed, that is the creature that Duke fought at the end of Duke 3D. Also, this game does not exist, nor will it ever.t3h_sauce

But yeah you and the above poster are right, when you think about it even the Brumak from Gears of War looks like or reminds you of the bosses from Duke Nukem 3D.

Edit: also if the bosses look like the bosses from Gears of War, like The Corpser or Brumak, I mean in size and as ugly, then I don't mind at all.:D

does look like him ay haha. but didnt Duke finish him? unless he makes some random return. and yeah thats true about GoW .. if Duke Forever looks like GoW, its coz GoW looks like Duke3D. only the big bosses though.

i hope they step up the swearing in this game haha. oh wait, here comes a banning from the Australian OFLC.
