New FarCry - Mod: SturmMOD!

Projekt A.R.I.E.L. (ARTificial Research in Electronical Life) proudly presents the Sturm - MOD, created in the Sandbox - Editor of FarCry ((c) Crytek / Ubisoft). The mod is part of a theatre / media arts production done in summer 2008 as a project of students of the scenical arts at the university of Hildesheim, Germany. It provides an environment in which the places and actions described by William Shakespeare in his play "The Tempest" can be visited, explored, experienced and reflected by the player. Boooo! I thought someone finally came up with a Farcry Bot mod. :evil:flipin_jackass

Sorry, but you have to admit the term "Bots" was not used in the mod description... Hope you give it a chance anyway... :)

Well, it looks neat. I'll download it and reinstall Far Cry ;)

and I probably will quickly read through the Tempest to appreciate it. Heh.

The story of Shakespeare's "The Tempest" in own words:

Prospero, the duke of Milan, cast off his throne, is handed over to the
sea by his own brother. As he learns to have command over the waves he
saves his daughter Miranda and himself onto an island. There lives Caliban,
a wild and unrestrained creature, king of his own. After the arrival of the
strangers he becomes Prospero's pupil and, when his civilication fails, his
slave. Like the savage the former duke tries to cultivate the wilderness in
order to possess their treasures and to design it according to his will. His
aid is Ariel, an energy spirit, freed from captivity by Prospero's magic.
The isle becomes Prospero's scene, a projection of his thoughts and wishes.
As a ship with his former rivals, the king of Neaples and Prospero's brother,
approaches the island, he makes them prisoners of his magic kingdom by rai-
sing a tempest. His manipulation even brings together the son of the king and
his daughter as lovers. The other survivors are turned into greedy, endangered,
hunted and finally purged players of his production,which he reaveals to every-
one in the end. Prospero wants to return to his old world and therefore resigns
from magic and his most powerful tool - ARIEL.
