Today Sports interactive annoucned the release date over twitter and that it would be released 30th October which in truth is not far away. The video below has got all released screenshots by Sports Interactive and they show a variety of new features;

NEW FOOTBALL MANAGER 2010 GAMEPLAY SCREENSHOTS

  • New tactic creator which takes on wizard form not to unlike the wizard setup when crating a new user on FM09, this brings a lot of new options to the table so that you can get your team to play exactly the way you want to and when which is an improvement from last year
  • A new and improved 3d Match engine with new AI charaters that repond beter and have different more realistic move sets because from my experince inthe previous one it was as if stick men were running across the field.
  • They have an addition of Touchline shoutouts and improved tactics changes during a game which helps realism value and and it can quickly turn a game on its head if everything isn't going to plan
  • New user interface, there is to be a light and dark skin for your preference and the menu bars etc have been moved around more effectively as you can see in the screenshots.
  • Match analysis has improved to show your teams strengths and weaknesses to coinside with this they have introduced a better assistant feedback to see where you have went right or wrong during the game.

So what do you guys think of the new features and how excited are use about the FM, 'cos I really am? =]

They have also added a brand new Data Editor will allow the addition of new divisions to existing leagues and of entirely new leagues as well as making it easier than ever to keep the game up to date, and do so for free. The delivery of information to the manager has been refined with users now able to sign up to the News Centre, an in-game subscription based newspaper that lets you get the news that you want about the football world and filter out the stories that you do not need, which makes it more convenient to us as the managers =]

I'll wait and see if it's better than the last two games. They were not any fun to play because of the bugs.

Still playing 07 but that's too easy. :P

Really stoked about the tactics creator...the touchline shouts was long overdue, even fifa manager had it for a couple of years Hope they iron out the various issues with the 3d engine
