Stargate Resistance is a new online multilayer game by Firesky (only game by Firesky). It isn't very well known, but it has excellent graphics and great gameplay. The game is centered around the TV show Stargate:SG1, and has two teams, The SGC (Stargate command (USA) ), and the System Lords (aliens who enslaved Humans on other planets, and once ruled Egypt). The game features four maps (including a secret military base on Earth) currently, with more to come in new versions or expansions. Each team has several types of characters to play, each with their own special abilities such as invisibility, sniper rifles, poison, and more. The game has several different game play modes, such as conquest, team deathmatch, capture the tech (CTF), and more. Games feature about 8 players per side, and the maps are small but complex, with many passageways and lots of spots to hide. You might need a basic knowledge of the back-story to fully understand everything, but the game is pretty self explanatory. One of the best things about the game is the price, only $19.99, and it is available from Steam, Firesky, or Direct 2 Drive. It kind of seems to me that somebody created this account just to market the game. It only has one post yet pretty much reguritates a sales plug in said post.
It doesn't lag unless you have slow internet, plus it's based out of the US, so players in other countries can lag. plus, there will always be at least one populated server (usually 2) so it's not that hard to find a game to play unless you play off-peak.
