Optimize means it can run on a low end system for todays standards and run well. Even if the settings are on low the game must remains at a costant 30FPS or higher to be enjoyable. If you have lots of freezes/glitches then it won't be a good game because it's not optimized.
An example of an optimized game would be World of Warcraft. People can run that thing on Pentium 1's. Sure it looks horrible but that's not the point.
An example of a not optimized game would be Splintercell: Double Agent. The minimum system requirements are like a pentium 4 3.0ghz which not everyone has.
As for the movie it looks very nice. Thank you.
Yeah you are supposed to be able to run it on really old PCs. I wonder if the footage is using Dx10 or not.doesnt this game have a direct x 8 mode?. i heard it does in pc gamer.

it seems the game is poorly optimized at the moment, hope they would fix it. in anycase, the trailer shows more of the game's potential....i wasn't impressed by the previous trailers, but at least now it seems interesting.

Same here. I'm sure they will be able to optimize it. That's why they aren't taking pre orders just yet. This is Roper and company. They know that they better get it running and running good. That way the majority of the people can play it on their computers :D.
If they can't optimize it then it won't surpass Diablo 2. That is because Diablo 2 is playable on a pentium 1. Unstoppable_1
Hey, Diablo II is insurpassable!
God, this game is going to rule. As far as when it's going to come out......standard Blizzard-type guy response: "When it's done."NerdMan
THats the best kind of release date there is...another name for it is "we release it when its a good, nearly bug-free game".
And ya, this game is gonna rule.
BTW, is it multi-platform or PC only?
Why are so many people so excited about this? It looks like its non-sensical shooting.... and the graphics... wtf?
You could probably make a mod in halflife 1 that would surpass this game.

Thats what I thought at first, so youre not alone. Then I read up on it and got interested. Then I watched some videos.
To me, it looks like a combination of Diablo 2 and Serious Sam, with a dash of film noir atmosphere thrown in.
The third person animations of your character don't look very smooth to me, but then I've been spoiled by games like Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time. As for the game being 'senseless killing', that's how I found Diablo, so it's hardly surprising to find the same kind of thing here.
One thing I can't stand, though, is all the multi-coloured graphical bling going off on screen which prevents you from seeing anything. The more I see it in games, the more I think it's retarded. Like some of the area spell effects in Neverwinter Nights 2 which totally fog out the entire screen so you can't see a thing. Is that supposed to be fun or something? I might as well paint my screen black and play by sound alone.
As for the setting, it doesn't look much like London to me, just a generic city with a few British props. Sad really.
A lot of those abilities seemed pretty rediculous. I understand they are trying, but some of it is a bit too much :p
I'd really like to see a game like that much slower-paced, it looks like the gameplay aspect is going to be more of a click-fest like many top down action RPGs where 90% of the time you are just using your exact same attack over and over and over again, while you have like 50 different abilities that 'sound' cool, but are pretty much useless in reality. Diablo was pretty much like that, too, really. Interesting the way they pretty accurately represented the whole top down action RPG type of game in an FPS, though. Too bad I hate those games and most of the time they end up being mindless clicking all over the damned place in the end.
