Hello! I haven't posted here in ages :-) 2 years ago I moved to live in Germany and I left my gaming PC back home. I survived on my 2008 HP laptop and my PS3 so far. It's time to change that.

Note 1: I already have a 24" monitor with HDMI/DVI and I have a 500 GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD. I don't need an optical drive.

Note 2: I am only doing 1080p gaming for the foreseeable future.

Processor: Intel Core i5 6600K

Motherboard: ASRock Z170 Extreme4

RAM: 16 GB DDR4-2666 Kingston HyperX Fury

CPU Cooler: Scythe Katana 4

Case: Fractal Design Define R4

PSU: Thermaltake Berlin 630W

GPU: XFX Radeon R9 380 4 GB Black Edition

So what do you think? I want this to be around the 900 euro mark as far as possible, but leaving headroom for future upgrades.

Thank you

Note 3: I already have Windows 8 Pro so I can upgrade to 10.

Note 4: If I can lower the cost that would be AWESOME :-)

@Goodfella_no4: I'd swap to 8GB RAM 2400 HyperX for 65 euros

With that money saved, can you find any better GPU's for 40-50 more? 970, 390 etc

Google wont translate properly today :(

I think you'd want more power then an R9 380.

GTX 970 would be excellent for you, it can run modern games on High, Ultra settings.

Here's a build within 900 euro mark that includes a GTX 970. You can change the case to whatever you'd like, I was just staying within your budget. Overall it's a nice little build. BTW 8GB of RAM is enough for modern games.

Thank you guys. Do I need anything more than the R9 380 for 1080p gaming?

Well if GTX970 or R9 390 is off budget, tomorrow AMD will launch R9 380X.

Wait for the benchies, there will certainly be comparisons between R9 380X and R9 380 for 1080p.
