I thought it was pretty good because of the recent console releases. Kind of like a "PC is still here" article.

They didn't mention a super PC cost 2000 and console cost 400. I don't own a console mostly because i hate the controller and i'm a keyboard and mouse guy but i can understand why consoles sell well.

I am going to have the best of all worlds baby, be jelly. (OK... seriously stop laughing at my PC specs)

I gamed on i5 750, HD5770, 8Gb G.skill Sniper not long time ago and it was fine, I could run every game I wish. Some on low some on high.

You own better specs than my previous rig :)

LOL, when I was reading that article I was so confused. After reading all of it and then coming back here I almost pissed myself laughing (cause PC is and always will be better than any console). I mean like we don't even need to by a whole new PC every 2 or 3 years, we can just replace certain component that has reached it's due date and even that outlasts a whole generation of consoles. I will always feel superior to people who game on consoles and I can do so freely as I am on a PC and Mac Discussion forum so no console fans will give :D.

@kraken2109 Thanks Kraken. I guess I've been putting off a new GPU for too long it would be a worthy investment now that next-gen is here.

Sure, you can drop $2000 on a PC, but we all know you don't need a $2000 PC to run games with higher graphics, better framerate, etc.

Personally, mine was $800 when I built it 2.5 years ago, but I know of people who have built cheaper PCs than that.

Console games £50, PC games £5 - £20

Your weak argument only applies if you get the same mediocre limited setup as a console for the same money.

I pre-ordered my PC 15 years ago. I'm so excited for launch!
