I ordered a x1650pro and i downloaded the latest drivers but i want to know if i need to install the drivers then put in the card or put in the cardthen install the drivers or ..........
While the old video card is still in the PC, go to the Device Manager, and "Remove" it there. Then go to Add/Remove Software and remove any software that was associated with the old card. Shut down, remove the old one, put in the new one, and follow the rest of the directions that come with the card (some will do one thing, some will do another). The two most common are to either just install a "Standard PCI Driver" in Windows before running the CD Install from the video card CD, or to start the CD Install from within the Add New Hardware Wizard.
Im using integrated graphics so do i disable it then turn off my pc or just leave them on then install the drivers for x1650 while it is in my pc already then disable integrated graphics and connect monitor to my 1650
