NEW iPod coming...

Not sure how many people know, but there is a new iPod coming. Looks exactly like the iPhone, but lacks the phone portion. Comes in 8GB and 16GB, has WiFi and the Safari Web Browser. It also has the YouTube connectivity. However it has the usual hefty price tage of $299 and $349 respectively.

Also Apple introduced a new iPod nano, and to makes matters worse for those first day iPhone buyers (and eBay spenders) the iPhone has now been cut by $200.

Pretty interesting stuff huh?!

I ordered 2 new iPods yesterday. I'm getting a nano and touch. I want the nano for going to the gym and such. Big MP3 players are the worst at the gym. I'm getting the touch because it looks so cool. The geek in me could not survive without having one to play with.

I might get an iTouch and sell my 30 gig video ipod to my bro for 170, thing is most of the music on the ipod, including some video (ConAir-baddest ass movie ever!!+ a butt load of Robot Chicken) is from friends, backed everthing from the ipod to computer using neat little program (Sharepod)......a good 1/4 of the 13 gigs is um......ya...i aint authorized or my pc i should say cause the stuff my friends purchased was on itunes, so ya, kinda in a peckle but hey what are friends for

Actually. the 16GB iPod touch is $399.

The technology that went into making that thing is incredible. Major selling point for me is the wifi connection that allows you to download music directly into your iPod. Nobody does that.

Wi-Fi hot spots are hard to come by these days, atleast in Arizona, anyhow, the new ipod Touch is not able to download video say from youtube via Wi-Fi now,....or is it?
