Hey, I'm looking to buy a laptop and I've found a pretty cheap one for $400. I'll only be using it for school work, messenger, listening to music, stuff like. All my gaming will be done on my PC. Anyways, I was just wondering if this one seemed good, and the average battery life. Here's the specs:

Approximate Battery Life 2.4 Hours Hard Drive Speed/Capacity 120GB 5400RPM Optical Drive 8X DVD+/-RW Super-Multi Dual Layer Processor Speed 2.0GHz Processor Type Intel Celeron M550 RAM 1GB Screen Size 15.4"

If the laptop is running Vista, you might want to opt for some more RAM (which is dirt cheap these days).

I personally would go for a Pentium Dual-core or AMD Turion X2 at minimum. Granted your system isn't doing very intensive tasks, but I still avoid Celerons.
