There will be no wipes of characters in this closed beta phase 2! Open Registration.

I have come to really like this game. The in game leveling bot is one of my favorite aspects of the game. I am a parent, and I don't have the time to dedicate to a game that some people have. The bot allows everyone to stay at an even playing field, and allow those who can't dedicate alot of actual playing time (like me) to still compete for level.
You start out as a mage, summoner, warrior, or archer. But with the character transfers, there is a total of 16 different character types a player can end up being. You choose a country to play in, either Empire or Dynasty. These are warring sides. When you get to level 38 or so, you can start leveling in "neutral" maps, rather then maps that are for your own country alone. In these neutral maps, you may run across a member of the opposite county. If you kill the person from the other country, you get Honor points in your country.

There are tons of quests. For awhile in the game, you do not even need to use the bot, as the quests will keep you leveling, and those can not be botted. In addition to the normal monsters to kill, there are Elites, and Bosses. (Elites are like mini-bosses on a map). The Elites will have some decent drops. The Bosses are very tough to beat, and you usually need a team to take them down, with a couple of Healing characters (Nature Guard Summoners).

You also can learn skills to make your own armor, potions, weapons and more. This gives the player the ability to make an income in the game, and not have to totally relying on what is found in hunting with your character.

All and all, this game appeals to me very much.

PROS:
1. In Game Bot allows everyone to be able to compete fairly.
2. Country Systems allows those who like to PK, to have a target that is not their fellow countrymen.
3. Many character types to choose from.
4. Weekly War. Dynasty versus Empire.
5. Variety of quests that seem to never end.
6. Bosses and Elites to hunt for good drops.
7. You can raise your own mount, and it gives you bonus attributes.

CONS:
1. Most of the skill books after a certain level must be found hunting. There are some that are much rarer then others, making it difficult to get your skill when you hit the level you can learn it.
2. The Bots tend to KS alot, especially in maps where there are alot of people leveling or hunting.
3. Living Skills (making armor weapons etc.) take alot of time to level up.

All and all, this is probably one of my favorite games. There is so many more features I didn't talk about here, but if you just try it out, you might just like it :)

Out of curiosity, are you an employee of this company or "consultant"/contracting party or have any financial interest in it?

Actually, no, I don't work for the company. I am a player who joined up when they had their first phase of closed beta. They are running an in-game reward system, but if I didn't like the game, I wouldnt care about getting in game rewards, and I wouldnt even still be playing it.

I didn't see anything wrong with putting a post here about it, as it is a PC game, and I thought I would share my personal feelings about the game.

Then please accept my apology. You are absolutely right that there is nothing wrong with sharing your personal feelings about the game; that's what Gamespot is for!

What looked suspicious to me is that this was your first post and that you just joined Gamespot. There's nothing wrong with viral marketing on community sites...I think Vanguard used it...but it is always nice if the company rep is upfront with where they are coming from. So again, I apologize for doubting your sincerity.

About the game: your description of the game sounds cool and it looks like a decent enough game. I'm going to look at it some more and maybe give it a try. It resembles sort of a polished Ultima Online, in a way? Maybe it's the isometric view.

Thanks for posting your review.
