Im looking to buy an HDTV for movies/xbox360 and the hd experience but I also want the tv to act as a good monitor. Im going to have it wall mounted in my room and I just don't know that much about HDTVs to really decide on my own. Im thinking about 1080p because im pretty sure thats the highest resolution a TV can go.......right? So can anyone recommend me some TVs that are out there. I am looking for something UNDER 2,500. Thanks in advanced

PS: bigger is better :) im going for the biggest screen I can get right now, but I also want a good picture I dont want to sacrifice clarity/sharpness for size.

http://www.amazon.com/Sony-KDL-40XBR2-Bravia-1080p-HDTV/dp/B000H6GFKG/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2/104-1624359-6575938?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1180740183&sr=8-2

Amazon has it for a bit under 2500 atm. Thats probably the best 40" there is and it does 1080p natively. The XBR2 series is Sony's high-end, the processing they use is far superior. 40" is one of the smallest sizes for 1080p, so its around as sharp as u can get without dropping to a monitor. It doesn't have DVI, but it has 3 HDMI ports and a VGA port. there are a lot of DVI-HDMI converters that u can put on a gfx card. hope u like it!
