LOL XD
thank god they fianally came out, i have been checking the site daily for the last two weeks, i got the farcry 2 beta drivers for fc2 and while using them i had crashes in cod4 and lower fps in all other games..
i hope this fixes things and allows rivatuner to adjust fan speed again. thx for the thread.
I can't adjust my fan speeds any more with this new driver... Arg!
Anyone else having the same issues?

That's 178, these are 180 - you already received your boost.
I switched my drivers back... Rather have fan speed control and stability... Then a few extra frames.
Maybe Nvidia will be smart next time and add fan speed support to it's drivers.
Wtf...I install'd the new drivers and my fan speed vanished from GPU-Z :(.Is there any fix for this?.I noticed a slightly little fps incrase in some cases with this driver, but i had a scene in 3dmark06 where my FPS dropped below 20 and usually it was a minimum of 30 with my old driver.I can't decide if its better to leave it on or rollback to 178.13 :|znoop2006
You need to wait for the software makers to update tpo support the new drivers!
the new drivers are working fine for me. With Rivatuner i'm still able to control the fan-speed, and all my custom fan profiles remain unharmed.Floyd-TheBarberSame
When were these released? I just updated my drivers this week, however I feel there's a slight possibility I have the older ones. How do you check your driver numbers? I'm kind of a noob at these things :PHot_Potatoto check your current ones go to your Nvidia control panel and click "system information" under the help menu. it should tell you there. im not sure how to look at your previous drivers

Great job Nvidia...with these new drivers multi-core support in Left 4 Dead is bricked. If you update to the 180.48 drivers and experience random stuttering in Left 4 Dead it's probably the multi-core issue at work. Disable multi-core support in the game and things will smooth out.RayvinAznOn my machine with gtx 280 & quadcore, Left 4 dead runs fine. On my other system with a gtx 260, it stutters constantly. On my other system with 8800gts, the 180.48 driver freezes the video on the desktop right when Windows is done loading the ntools.
I hate these drivers. Some of my older games using OpenGl started to crash more often and I got much worse performance also. Graphical glitches on games using older versions of DirectX (DX 8 I think). Piss poor performance in L4D at some points (drastic loss of FPS during intense action from my older drivers).
