RTS?

- Change the E6850 to a Q6600
- Change the motherboard to a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L, unless you absolutely need RAID
- The 8800 GT at its current market price eats way too much of a budget. Change the card to an ATi Radeon HD3870 (go to dell.com for a VisionTek HD3870 with lifetime warranty for $220)
- Make sure you find a good deal on the RAM. Sometimes you can catch dirt cheap Crucial Ballistix RAM for sale
- Change that Thermaltake PSU to a Corsair VX550W

A quad core processor would be better, the games don't really support it fully right now, but in the next few years developers will start to take advantage of multicored processors.

Right now you're fine with the games available, but down the road you'll want a Quad.

The DS3L will probably be good enough for you. I hear it OCs well and it supports Q6600. The E6850 is technically faster, but eventually quad cores will become more of a standard. I would go with Q6600 and OC it a little.

Either get a 6750 or a q6600 and just overclock it. while the 6850 is a bit better at stock, you really do not gain anything over the other 2 processors due to the ability to achieve 30-40% overclocks on air with relative ease. The dell deals on the 8800/3870 are dead, dell is charging 250-300$ for the cards now.

Thanks everyone all your input isgreatly appreciated, just in regards with overclocking is it easy i dont have any previous expereince with it. if its easy enough ill definatly get a q6600 and overclock it to 3ghz that would be awsome ive seen alot of people do it. thanks
